STIMA OEM 20mm – 82.5mm (0.78in – 3.25in) Self-Service Kiosk Thermal Ticket Printer with Cutter.
Stima OEM is the latest iteration of a class leader in performance, reliability and flexibility in the most heavy-duty thermal printing applications. It prints 20mm wide waterproof wristbands, 50mm wide adhesive baggage tags for airlines, 82.5mm wide event tickets in the hundreds of thousands, and a myriad other interesting and challenging applications, fan-fold or paper roll.
Performance is remarkable, printing up to 200mm/sec on paper weights from 80 g/m² to 350 g/m² with an industry leading 2,000,000+ ticket cuts. It is a uniquely adaptable ticket printer having movable alignment sensors above and below the paper path to accommodate all types and sizes of graphic media and pre-printed artwork with various alignment marks.
Ethernet USB and RS232 are standard with optional Wi-Fi adapters for cable free interfacing. A very popular feature is the onboard web server with secure access, providing a user friendly but comprehensive graphical real time status display and also an extensive remote management utility where settings and configurations can be changed, logos and fonts can be stored locally on the printer and ticket layout and alignment can be defined, either on the go printer by printer or by quickly and easily distributing a preconfigured setup file to the flash drive of every printer on your global network.
The optional RFID kit is becoming widely adopted for automated access control, tracking of tickets throughout and around venues and parcel and product tracking. The ability to read from RFID chips as they are being printed provides a level of ticket fraud security previously unavailable and the function of writing to RFID as the ticket or label is printed is constantly finding new applications. There is also a model with an inline barcode scanner, built in to the print engine to provide secure and seamless ticket stock verification and management.
The Stima OEM is widely used in airports, either the model with native AEA firmware onboard that integrates effortlessly with CUSS platforms, or the standard Stima OEM with Windows drivers. A real benefit here is the triple feeder option (factory fitted). This enables printing of bag tags and two different types of boarding pass tickets from the same printer. Alternatively, two or three stacks of the same boarding pass stock can be loaded into the same printer for higher autonomy. Not only does this save on capital outlay with fewer printers required, but also uses less of the vital space inside self-check in stations than the traditional multiple printers
Of course, the autonomy, cost saving, space saving, and flexibility facilitated by the triple feeder applies equally well to non-airline applications.
